A method and a device for displaying information are provided. The method includes obtaining, by a movement path obtaining unit, information of a movement path of the terminal, receiving, by a short-range wireless communication unit, through a short-range wireless communication, position information of a server providing advertisement information, transmitting, by an information transmitting unit, to the server, information requesting advertisement, receiving, by an information receiving unit, from the server, advertisement information in response to the request, and displaying, by an advertisement displaying unit, on the terminal the received advertisement information on the basis of the obtained information on the movement path of the terminal. |
