PURPOSE: A virtual lover game service providing method and a server thereof are provided to induce an interest of a user by increasing a level of a user character through a relationship between the user character and an opposite sex character. CONSTITUTION: A server transmits a character setup menu which is a menu for producing a user character to be used for playing a game to a user terminal (S11). After the character setup menu is transmitted to the user terminal, a user character is produced in response to a setup input when the server receives the setup input about the character setup menu from the user terminal (S12). If a user character is produced, an opposite sex character which is able to have a relationship with the produced user character by being operated by an artificial intelligence is provided to the user terminal (S13). In case the server performs a preset action which is related to a game play, a game point is provided to the user terminal (S14). In case the user character performs a preset action which is related to a relationship with the opposite sex character, the server provides an empirical point capable of increasing the level of the user character (S15).
