The present invention relates to an antibody that combines to a domain 2 of cell adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1) among human cells, which adjusts functions and differentiation of dendritic cells and induces antigen-specific T-cell tolerance to be effective for a prevention and treatment of T-cell mediated immunological diseases, such as a rejection of transplant, diseases regarding grafts against hosts, and autoimmune diseases. In addition, the present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition containing the antibody, and a method of using thereof for treating diseases.
