PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a dedicated device for attaining WOL, and to prevent unauthorized operations by WOL execution of a third party. SOLUTION: A terminal device (WOL object terminal 1-5), which has a WOL function to start a terminal connected to a network (LAN8) from another terminal connected to the same network, includes a composition set means (LAN adapter composition set portion 110) which transmits an identification information of a terminal requiring approval of the preset WOL to WOL object terminals (1-5) and a control means (LAN adapter control portion 120) which determines feasibility of WOL referring to the identification information, when the WOL requirement from the requiring terminal 2 is received and inputs a power source.
