Bus system and method for data communication

The system has a transmission unit (3) including a transmission module to transfer data from connections (8, 9) of associated bus stations (2', 2'') to a supply bus (1), where one of the connections is provided for a clock line and the other connection is provided for a power supply line. A receiver module transfers the data from the supply bus to the connections of the associated bus stations. The data between the bus stations is transferred as modulated data on the supply bus. The transmission module is designed such that the data is modulated by a digital amplitude modulation. An independent claim is also included for a method for transmitting data between two bus stations.
