<p>A razor blade cleaning device 10 suitable for cleaning the head 22 of a safety razor 24 comprises a cleaning chamber for receiving a razor head 22. A fluid is fed through the cleaning chamber to contact the blades of a razor head 22 disposed therein. The device preferably comprises a base 12, with a receiving portion (20, fig.2) and a cleaning head 14 which together define the cleaning chamber. Fluid openings (40, fig.3) allow fluid to enter the cleaning chamber, preferably via a manifold arrangement. Waste may be removed from the cleaning chamber via opening (58, fig.2). The device may include a transmitter which uses a wireless communications link to transmit usage data to a remote location. The device may be activated upon detection of a razor 24 in the cleaning chamber.</p> |
