PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat lifter device for a vehicle superior in operability, without causing wrench and distortion between bearings, even in the seat lifter device for transmitting lateral torque by a torque rod. SOLUTION: A lock engaging-disengaging device 40 is coaxially arranged with the torque rod on one end side of the torque rod 36 connecting a pair of right-left rear link members 28 so that the torque is transmitted. The lock engaging-disengaging device includes a first rotary member 41 fixed to the torque rod and the rear link member side, a second rotary member 42 relatively rotatably fitted to the first rotary member with the axis of the torque rod as the center via a bearing part 48 and fixed to the base frame side, and an engaging-disengaging mechanism 47 for restricting and allowing relative rotation of the first rotary member and the second rotary member by engageably-disengageably engaging the first rotary member and the second rotary member.
