The dishwasher (1) has an outer housing, a feeding door and a base region. A heat pump circuit (15) is provided with a ventilator (14), a vaporizer (16), a compressor, a condenser, an orifice and a flow circuit. The ventilator is formed such that the flow rate of supply air (11) is ranged between 70-100 m 3>/h. The feeding door is provided with several air inlets (9). The outer housing is provided with the air discharge openings (10) for exhaust air (12). An independent claim is included for a method for operating dishwasher.
