PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient replication method of data. SOLUTION: A replication part 113 acquires, in addition to actual data, provisional registration data and data such as hash and synonym generated from the actual data from a storage part 114, transmits them to another data retention device 1B as update data, and the data retention device 1B updates the data of the storage part 114 by the update data.
