The present invention relates to a module type temperature and humidity sensor for detecting a temperature and humidity comprising: a sensor module in a rod form for detecting a temperature and humidity; a power module in a rod form for supplying a power source; a communication module in a rod form for performing communication with an external device; a display module for indicating the temperature and humidity detected in the sensor module; and more than one connecting module in a rod form having a fixed length for adjusting the length of a sensor by being inserted into a gap between the modules and connected. A temperature and humidity are detected and indicated by selectively combining the sensor module and the power module with the communication module and the display module according to a purpose of use. The length of a sensor is adjusted by inserting and connecting more than one connecting module into a gap between the modules according to an installation environment. According to the present invention, the temperature and humidity sensor comprises a sensor module, a power module, a display module, a communication module, and a connecting module for adjusting the length of the sensor. The temperature and humidity sensor can be used by combining a function of the temperature and humidity sensor according to a purpose of use. The length can be adjusted according to an installation environment. Costs for composing the temperature and humidity sensor can be reduced. Installation and maintenance are facilitated.
