The combustion chamber (410) has two combustion zones (420,421), a housing (412) surrounding the combustion zones, and two burner assemblies. The housing has a curvature (430) in a radial direction, where the curvature forms a cavity (435). A feeding passage (425) of the latter burner assembly opens into the curvature. The ignition of the air-fuel mixture introduced into the curvature takes place within the curvature. The curvature is circumferential and has an annular gap. An independent claim is included for a method for combusting a fuel-air mixture in a gas turbine combustion chamber.
