The present invention relates to a pretreatment apparatus of a waste activated sludge and a waste activated sludge pretreatment method using the same for the waste activated sludge generated in a biological treatment tank of a sewage and wastewater treatment plant. The pretreatment apparatus for solubilizing the sludge includes: a first sludge storage tank for receiving the sludge that is to be treated; a high pressure pump for introducing the sludge from the first sludge storage tank to a cavitation chamber at a pressure of 7 to 560 bar, the cavitation chamber having an orifice so that cavitation occurs while a high pressure sludge discharged from the high pressure pump passes through the orifice; a venturi unit for injecting ozone into the sludge discharged from the cavitation chamber; and a second sludge treatment unit installed under the venturi unit and storing the treated sludge. |
