The device has a measuring clamp (1) provided between a symmetrical data cables (2) e.g. twisted- pair cables, with wire pairs (2a, 2b) and asymmetric measuring port of a network analysis apparatus for measuring characteristic high frequency-properties of the cables. A support (3) fixes an end of the cables to be measured, and a spreading body (4) tapers in a longitudinal direction, and is provided with elongated recesses (5) to be formed in an outer surface of the spreading body, where the recesses inlay and rotationally symmetric expand wire pair ends of the cables. |
