The device (10) has a measuring element (32) attached with an object and arranged on a carrier (30). A scanner unit (40) is attached with another object for scanning the measuring element. A polarizer (36) is arranged on the carrier. The measuring element and the polarizer are illuminated by a light transmitter (20), where light influenced by the measuring element and the polarizer are detected by the scanner unit. The measuring element and the polarizer are arranged in two circular rings (34, 38) that are arranged concentric to each other. The polarizer is formed by a polarizing filter. The carrier is designed as a transparent disk i.e. glass disk, or an opaque reflecting disk. |
