[Also in Division C3] A metal plate is coated with a paint composition comprising (a) an alcohol, (b) a copolymer of acrylic acid, acrylamide, ethyl acrylate and, optionally, methyl methacrylate, the acid groups of the copolymer being neutralised with ammonia and amide groups of the copolymer being methylolated, (c) titanium dioxide and, optionally, (d) water. The coating is enamelled at 170‹C for 3 minutes. |
