<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recorder and a method for detecting transfer troubles by which printing action can be quickly detected when a transfer trouble occurs without printing marks for detecting transfer condition on a card face. <P>SOLUTION: The information recorder includes a transferring section 10 for transferring a medium to be printed, a recording head section 20 for recording information in the medium to be recorded, an optical sensor section 40 having a camera 41 for obtaining the surface of the medium to be recorded as an image and an image processing circuit 42 for measuring the displacement quantity of the image obtained by the camera 41, and a determining section 50 for determining the transfer trouble based on the displacement quantity of the image input from the optical sensor section 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
