The device has a trans-anal placed inflatable balloon of a dumbbell-or hourglass shape. The balloon ends (6) are positioned on a body of catheter shafts (1) in inverted manner. The catheter shaft is packed in a sheet structure that is sealed from sheet layers. Molded compartments of the sheet structure are designed around a catheter. The wetting of the catheter tip is carried out with a lubricant. An independent claim is included for a method for transanal insertion of enema in the rectum and colon of a patient.
