<p>An anti-zipper sliding device 10 for secure to the strings of a slide fastener such as a zipper, the device comprising a first body portion 30 releasably fastened to a second body portion 40 by a fastener to removably secure the device to a zipper track, at least one of the first and second body portions having a gripping surface 73 to prevent movement along the zipper track; a cover 20 is secured to the first body by a locking mechanism such as a padlock and covers the fastener 82; the fastener is preferably a threaded fastener and clamps the body portions against the zipper track. The device may include a post 88 to secure the handle of a zipper. The first part may include a protrusion 59 with a hole 65, the tab being inserted through a slot in the cover and secured by a padlock, the padlock may also secure through a hole in the handle of a zipper (fig.6) to prevent sliding of a zipper.</p> |
