The present invention relates to a device capable of removing bubbles generated in an electro-wetting device and an electro-wetting lens using the same. More particularly, an electro-wetting lens according to the present invention includes: a pair of transparent plates comprised in parallel with each other; a driving part which is comprised between the pair of transparent plates, and forms a space part in the inside; and a transparent polarized fluid and a transparent non-polarized fluid which are comprised in the space part and form a mutual interface. The driving part includes: an electrode pair for generating an electric field; an insulating member for insulating the electrode pair; a hydrophobic member which is converted into a hydrophilic member when an electric field is supplied to the electrode pair; and a catalyst member for ionizing bubbles in the polarized fluid and the non-polarized fluid by catalyst reaction. The catalyst member by platinum or palladium according to the present invention can remove bubbles generated in a breakdown process of an insulator or a recovery process of the insulator in the electro-wetting device, and also can improve bubble removal efficiency by increasing a contact area of the catalyst member and the polarized fluid (water) by forming a Teflon coating layer and the structural characteristics of the catalyst member. |
