摘要 A method and system are described for processing of captured, monitored communication session or call data in a mobile communication network. The arrangement describes creation of a raw/bulk and large communication session data stream 210 comprising all the captured, monitored session data for all calls in the network for at least two sectors (150, 152, Figure 1) of the network and from this selecting a subset of the data for each session/call record of this stream to form a high-priority communication stream 220. The high-priority communication stream 240 also comprises geo-location information 230 related to each call record derived from the raw/bulk communication stream and may also comprise Quality of Service or network coverage type information derived from the communication session data stream. The high-priority communication stream may then be stored in the network (360, Figure 3) to allow network fault diagnosis upon querying or identifying faults in advance or allow other queries depending on the actual data selected in the subset. The high-priority stream typically takes around 10% of the storage space compared to the original raw/bulk communication session data stream. The original communication session data stream may be stored in the network too in a large storage (350, Figure 3) which compared to the storage for the high-priority stream may be slower to access. In an alternative embodiment the original communication session data stream may be discarded or deleted. The data may be captured/extracted from the network by probes at the base station (160, 112, Figure 1), at the Radio Network Controller (165, 122, Figure 1) or a module (170, Figure 1) integrated in the Operational Support Subsystem (130, Figure 1). Compared to prior art arrangements the monitored data in the high-priority stream may be accessible and searchable in (near) real-time (540, Figure 5) and may also comprise continuous monitored data compared to selective monitoring. Figure 4 provides a description of the data that may be captured/monitored/extracted in the communication session data stream and used to select a subset therefrom to form the high-priority stream.
