<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to readily determine whether or not attribute data of a paper sheet should be updated. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes an attribute data storage means that stores first attribute data indicative of an attribute of a current recording medium, an input means for inputting second attribute data indicative of an attribute of a recording medium which is a candidate of updating of the first attribute data, an update data storage means that stores part of or all of the second attribute data as update data for updating the first attribute data, an image forming means that forms a sample image on a recording medium corresponding to the first attribute data and a recording medium corresponding to the second attribute data, an updating means that updates the first attribute data with the update data, and a first selecting means that selects whether or not the first attribute data is updated with the update data by the updating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
