RUBBER MIXTURES CONTAINING SILICIC ACID AND SULFUR-CONTAINING ADDITIVES

Silicic acid containing rubber mixture comprises at least one rubber, a sulfur containing alkoxysilane, a crosslinking agent, a filler, optionally further rubber auxiliary products, and a silicon-free polysulfide additive (I) (0.1-15 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the used rubber). Silicic acid containing rubber mixture comprises at least one rubber, a sulfur containing alkoxysilane, a crosslinking agent, a filler, optionally further rubber auxiliary products, and a silicon-free polysulfide additive of formula (A-S-(S) x-S-B1) (I) (0.1-15 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the used rubber). Independent claims are also included for: (1) vulcanizates and rubber moldings of all kinds, preferably tire components and tires based on the above rubber mixture; (2) polysulfide additives of formula (A1-S-(S) x1-S-Y2-S-(S) x1-S-A1) (III); and (3) polysulfide additives comprising 2-[6-(2-hydroxy-ethyldisulfanyl)-hexyl-disulfanyl]-ethanol (Ia), 3-[6-(2,3-dihydroxy-propyldisulfanyl)-hexyl-disulfanyl]-propane-1,2-diol (Ib), (6-carboxymethyldisulfanyl-hexyldisulfanyl)-acetic acid (Ic), (6-methoxycarbonylmethyldisulfanyl-hexyldisulfanyl)-acetic acid methyl ester (Id), 3-[6-(2-carboxy-ethyldisulfanyl)-hexyl-disulfanyl]-propionic acid (Ie), 3-[6-(2-methoxycarbonyl-ethyldisulfanyl)-hexyl-disulfanyl]-propionic acid methyl ester (If), 2-[6-(1-carboxy-ethyldisulfanyl)-hexyl-disulfanyl]-propionic acid (Ig), 2-[6-(1-methoxycarbonyl-ethyldisulfanyl)-hexyl-disulfanyl]-propionic acid methyl ester (Ih) and 2,2'-(hexane-1,6-diyl-bis(disulfane-diyl))dibenzoic acid (Ii). x1 : 0-2; A1 : aliphatic or aromatic group (contains at least one OH and/or O-CH 3); and Y2 : divalent aliphatic group (optionally interrupted by heteroatoms).
