摘要 The present invention relates to a torsional damper to improve the fuel efficiency of a hybrid electric vehicle operated by an engine and a motor. The torsional damper according to the present invention comprises a sliding bearing engaged with the outer circumference of a propeller shaft; a fixed part which is engaged with the outer circumference of the propeller shaft with the sliding bearing between them and which has an elastic member engaged with the outer circumference of the sliding bearing and a mass arranged in the radial direction of the elastic member; and an electromagnetic clutch which has a contact member fixed to one end of the fixed part and a friction member fixed to one outer circumferential side of the propeller shaft to come in contact with each other when external power is supplied. The electromagnetic clutch cuts off power supply when the vehicle is operated solely by the motor.
