<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for restraining the deviation of the potential of an image signal. <P>SOLUTION: This image display device includes: a light emitting element emitting light by an electric current from one end to the other end; a driving transistor having first, second and third electrodes in which the first electrode is electrically connected to the other end to adjust an electric current flowing between the first and the second electrodes by potential applied to the third electrode; and a resistance member electrically connected in parallel with the light emitting element. While a voltage is applied between one end and the second electrode so that potential is higher at one end in the case that the voltage between one end and the other end exceeds a threshold voltage of the light emitting element according to a change in potential applied to the third electrode, an electric current flows between one end and the other end to cause the light emitting element to emit light. On the other hand, in the case that the voltage between one end and the other end is not higher than the threshold voltage of the light emitting element, an electric current flows through the resistance member so that no electric current flows between one end and the other end not to cause the light emission of the light emitting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
