The climbing aid has a ski-fixed base part (20.1) and a supporting unit which has two supporting positions, in which the supporting unit prevents a lowering of a shoe under an ascent angle between the shoe and ski (1). The ascent angle is accessible for each supporting position. The shoe is held in the ski binding.
