The present invention relates to a piston pin for a variable compression ratio engine to increase the effective length of a connecting rod in a variable compression ratio engine. The piston pin (10, 10′) for a variable compression ratio engine according to the present invention is used for connecting a piston (21) to the connecting rod (22) in the variable compression ratio engine; and has a greater diameter at one part to be connected to the connecting rod (22) than the other part to be connected to the piston (21).
