A drum type washing machine is provided to fasten a damper reducing vibration of a rotating drum easily and a motor bracket fastening a drive motor. A drum type washing machine comprises a tub(20) in which washing water is supplied; a rotating drum, arranged inside the tub, installed to wash or dehydrate laundry; a motor bracket(43) in which a drive motor(41) rotating the rotary drum is fixed, in which a first coupling hole(45) is formed to be assembled to the tub; a number of dampers(60) reducing vibration generation during rotation of the rotating drum, in which a second coupling hole(61) is formed to be assembled to the tub; and a number of protrusions(21,25) guiding the assembly location of the motor bracket and the damper, and thus keeping the motor bracket and the damper in place on the tub. |
