Provided is the accident notifying system for preventing a second collision, including: a terminal having a GPS navigation function, detecting and displaying the travelling of a vehicle and the status of the accident, and having a function transferring information related to the travelling status of the vehicle to a server platform through a network, and displaying information transferred from the server platform on a screen; and a server platform with a function transferring the information to the other terminal by determining whether the accident occurs according to the preset algorithm based on the information on travelling status thereof transferred from the terminal and traffic information.
