PURPOSE: A profile information providing method and device are provided to store keywords in the profile information of a user and then offer profile information which is based on evaluation information about the keywords. CONSTITUTION: A keyword receiving part (210) receives one or more profile keywords related to a first user from a first terminal. A keyword storing part (220) stores the one or more profile keywords by relating the keywords with the first user. A profile request receiving part (230) receives a request of first user profile information from a second terminal. A profile information providing part provides the first user profile information containing the one or more profile keywords to the second terminal. A selected keyword is one profile keyword among the one or more profile keywords. An evaluation information receiving part (250) receives the selected keyword and evaluation information about the selected keyword from the second terminal. An evaluation information storing part stores the evaluation information by relating the information with the selected keyword.
