The present invention relates to a seeding container composed of a biodegradable foamed sheet and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention is naturally biodegraded according to properties of a biodegradable foamed sheet so that the present invention is environment-friendly. Especially, as holes are regularly or irregularly formed so that the present invention makes the planted seeds put down roots via the holes and grow well before the container is biodegraded. Furthermore, as the planted seeds grow by putting down roots not only to the underside of the container but also the lateral surface of the container before the foamed sheet is naturally biodegraded and becomes compost and moisture and nutrients are easily absorbed so that the seeding container can be transplanted while the seeds are planted. Furthermore, the seeding container of the present invention can be utilized as a container for food or a tray capable of keeping food to be aerated.
