PURPOSE: A microorganism fuel cell is provided to reduce cost by replacing electrode material of high cost to stainless steel and to increase a generating amount of electric energy by contacting a separator and electrode. CONSTITUTION: A microorganism fuel cell(100) comprises a negative electrode part(110), a positive electrode part(120), and a separator(130). The negative electrode part comprises a first chamber(111) generating electrons and hydrogen ions by an anaerobic treatment of wastewater, and a first electrode(112) accepting the generated electrons. The positive electrode part comprises a second chamber receiving air from outside and aerobic-treat he wastewater and discharging to outside, and a second electrode(122) accepting hydrogen ions generated from the first chamber. The separator is arranged between the first and second electrodes, electrically insulating the first and second electrodes. A plurality of holes is formed in the separator. |
