The present invention relates to a separator for lithium secondary battery and lithium secondary battery including the same. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the separator is a separator which has the surface energy of 45 mN to 50 mN/m. The separator has excellent wetting property to an electrolyte. Also, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the present invention provides a battery which has excellent capacitance and cycle lifetime property.
