The present invention relates to a system and a method for preventing a vehicle door from colliding with objects. The purpose of the invention is to provide a system and a method for opening a door at a calculated angle by automatically calculating the maximum opening degree of the door and by recognizing a distance between the nearby object and the side of a door in order to prevent the door from colliding with the objects when opening the door in a vehicle during parking. The present invention comprises a sensor unit which measures the distance from the objects; an angle calculating unit which calculates the maximum opening degree of the door based on the distance measured by the sensor unit, and which determines whether or not passengers can get off the vehicle at the calculated maximum opening degree; and a door opening unit which opens the door at the maximum opening degree calculated by the angle calculating unit.
