The method involves compressing a polymer melt forming a foam plastic surface layer (2) at an undercut region (3). The polymer melt is expanded at a molded cavity, and an injection mold for demolding a dashboard is opened. Cutters (9) e.g. needles, are allowed to slide in openings in a mold half (6) that is turned towards the undercut region. The cutters are pierced, while positioning a sliding body (7) during opening of the injection mold. The cutters are connected with the sliding body. |
