The present invention relates to an improved dust cover mounting structure which is a structural device for vehicles for preventing the impact of a road surface from being transmitted to the vehicle body and to passengers and which is improved to extend the lifetime of the suspension and smoothly maintain its function by effectively preventing the inflow of dust by improving a dust cover mounting structure; and a method for effectively manufacturing a fixing cup for improving the mounting structure. The present invention forms a recessed portion on the front end of a dust cover inserted into the fixing cup, forms an inward protrusion having a shape corresponding to the recessed portion, and joins the inward protrusion to the recessed portion. The fixing cup is manufactured by a continuous molding method using a progressive mold and an additional necking process for forming the inward protrusion.
