OPTICAL COUPLING SYSTEM FOR TWO OPTICAL WAVEGUIDES

摘要

The optical coupling system has a coupling point, at which a front side end surface (20) of a core (18) of an optical waveguide strikes to a front side end surface (34) of another core (28) of another optical waveguide. The latter optical waveguide is embedded into a ferrule (32), where a guide device is arranged at the ferrule. Another guide unit is arranged at a printed circuit board. The both guide devices are formed such that both devices form an axially aligned positioning of the former core and the latter core within direction in space cooperatively.
