PURPOSE: A ladle elevating device and a ladle elevating method are provided to stably elevate a ladle as some of arms are inserted into a groove of the ladle and support the later surface of the ladle at four points. CONSTITUTION: A ladle elevating device (100) includes rails (110), elevating blocks (130), and arms (150). The rails are fixed on both surface of a pit which are faced each other, and elevating blocks are mounted on the rails. The arms include support units and are joined to the elevating blocks so that the support units are moved between a supporting position and a non-supporting position. |
