<p>The fabric (100) has two middle warp threads (104) running parallel to each other, and an optical fiber arranged between the warp threads. The optical fiber runs parallel to the warp threads and is fixed in a position opposite to the warp threads. Length of the optical fiber corresponds to the length of the warp threads. Distance of the warp threads corresponds to the width of the optical fiber. Diameter of the optical fiber is smaller than the diameter of the warp threads. The optical fiber is surrounded by a protective shell and made of transparent plastic e.g. polymethyl methacrylate.</p> |
