PURPOSE: A patient-friendly selective medical service system and a method are provided to offer a patient with an analysis on several hospitals that express an intention to treat the patient, allow the patient select one out of the hospitals, and receive a necessary medical service from the hospital. CONSTITUTION: A personal check-up terminal (100-1~100-n) checks the condition of a patient and transmits the result to a health information relay unit (200). The health information relay unit transmits an ubiquitous health message including the information about the patient to an ubiquitous health server (300) and receives an ubiquitous health response message including the information about several medical institutions (130) from the server. The server transmits the patient information to the server of a select medical institution and receives the relevant information about the institution from the medical institution's server.
