The present invention relates to a braiding device and a braiding device-attached knitting machine. Provided is a braiding device that is installed at a terminal end of a yarn supply unit to combine at least two strands of first and second yarns into one, the braiding device comprising a base frame; a sealing member that is received by the base frame; a braiding guide member that has a yarn passing groove on a lower end surface so that the first and second yarns pass through the yarn passing groove, a lower surface of which is sealed by the sealing member, with a vertical air supply port bored at the center of the yarn passing groove in a longitudinal direction; a pneumatic supply member that is fixed to the base frame with the sealing member and the braiding guide member and includes an air supply hole through which high-pressure air is supplied to the air supply port; and a sealing material that is interposed between the air supply hole and the air supply port to prevent the leak of the supplied air. According to the present invention, at least two types of yarns with different colors or different materials are braided by using an air compression method, and thus a high binding force can be provided, braiding efficiency can be excellent, and installation and maintenance can be facilitated by the simple structure, and costs can be saved. |
