A marking device is configured as a light-emitting fitting tab (1) provided with light-emitting diodes (10), so that the light emission may take place through inclined edges (4). The fitting (1) is configured as a flat element whose height, thickness, is max. 5mm. The fitting (1) is composed of hard shell parts (2, 2a) in whose internal cavity the electrical components are embedded (3). The moulding mass is soft, while the shells (2, 2a) are hard. This enables the element to absorb loads and bending impacts without destruction of the fitting. The fitting (1) may therefore be arranged directly on the road surface (9) and by means of solar cells (12) as well as batteries (13) the light emission operates independently of an external power supply. A light sensor and/or a temperature sensor may control the light emission and optionally change the colour at low temperatures. |
