The present invention relates to a ball joint for a building structure. A general industrial ball joint is heavy and expensive due to complex production and assembling processes. Because the industrial ball joint is made of heavy steel as a material, considering the abrasion of a ball generated during the continuous operation of a machine. Mainly, one ball joint is formed per ball joint connecting body. But the ball joint for a building structure needs to consider the escape of a ball after the ball is installed in a structure to fix an angle, rather than the abrasion of the ball caused by operational friction. Due to the nature of a building construction, one ball joint connecting body should have multiple ball joints, and the lighter the weight of the ball joint is, the better it will be. The present invention is suitable to use as a lightweight material for construction, such as a wooden building, a fabricated tent, or a vinyl greenhouse of a geodesic dome type (Fig. 6), and is designed to have low production costs because of simple assembling. Therefore the present invention can make a new style of building popular. |
