The present invention provides a method for efficiently manufacturing a kammprofile gasket with great sealing property. The method comprises: a material arrangement process for arranging a ring shaped metallic gasket material over a plate; a mold arrangement process for arranging a pair of left and right molds along the inner circumferential surface of the gasket material inside the gasket material; a mold movement process for moving one or both sides of the pair of molds in the direction of extending the distance of the molds and stretching the ring shaped gasket material to have an ellipse shape; and an elastic sheet adhesion process for adhering elastic sheet on both sides of the ellipse shaped gasket material.
