Disclosed is a slag cooling apparatus. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a slag cooling apparatus comprising: a rotating cylinder for scattering molten slag; a spray nozzle for spraying a coolant to particle slag which is scattered from the rotating cylinder; a cooling tower in which the rotating cylinder and the spray nozzle are installed, and where an inlet for drawing in molten slag and an opening and closing outlet for discharging particle slag are respectively formed in the upper part and the lower part thereof; and a steam circulating part for supplying steam loaded before the particle slag is discharged by collecting high-temperature steam generated inside the cooling tower to a loading part inside the cooling tower.
