The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for determining non-line of sight (NLOS) around a GPS receiver, including: a satellite information collection step of collecting satellite information including a direction angle, a signal to noise ratio (SNR) and an altitude from at least one satellite; a selection step of selecting a satellite to judge NLOS on the basis of the altitude value of the collected satellite information; and an NLOS determining step of determining NLOS of a direction along which the satellite is located, on the basis of the SNR and the direction angle included in the satellite information of the selected satellite.
