<p>The invention relates to an n-butanol isomerization catalyst and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the catalyst is of the LiCr(PO)type and is deposited on clinoptilolite having a selectivity of 80%, at the temperature of 350°C. The process claimed by the invention comprises the hydrothermal synthesis of the catalyst which is mixed with 12% clinoptilolite activated by calcination at the temperature of 370°C, in inert atmosphere, the resulting mixture being extruded and then dried at 90°C, after which is activated by calcination at 370°C, in inert atmosphere.</p> |
