Disclosed is a rotary type barbecue roaster capable of cooking the meat while allowing the meat to revolve and rotate along a predetermined track inside a main body. The rotary type barbecue roaster according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: first and second curve rack provided at upper and lower ends of a pair of vertical racks; a pinion gear moving along the continuous teeth provided by the vertical racks and the curve racks while mounted on a chain; and a fixing element mounted on the pinion gear. According to the present invention, since the meat stably revolves and rotates along the predetermined track inside the barbecue roaster, the meat can be uniformly and effectively cooked. Further, a fire bowl is disposed at one side of the main body, thereby preventing the generation of smoke due to the dropped meat fat and enjoying the flavor of charcoal fire itself. Further, the cooked state of the meat is recognizable from the outside by using tempered glass or the like, thereby stimulating the taste of customers and thus inducing aggressive purchase. |
