591762 Disclosed is a system (50) for in-vehicle monitoring and control of a loading system of a commodity loading facility. A control device is adapted to interface with the loading system of a commodity loading facility and has a switching unit, an imaging device (104), and a communication link. The switching unit is interfaced with the communication link and adapted to selectively operating the loading system to transfer commodity (28) from at least one storage bin (22) of the loading facility and into a transport bin (34) of a vehicle (32) being loaded. The imaging device (104) is interfaced with the communication link and positionable to provide a visual feed of the interior of the transport bin (34) during loading. A user interface device is accessible from within the cab (38) of the vehicle (32) being loaded such that the communication link interfaces the user interface device to the control device. The user interface device has at least one switch operable to control the switching unit to thereby initiate and terminate the loading of commodity (28) into the transport bin (34) of the vehicle (32) being loaded. The user interface device has a display for displaying within the cab (38) of the vehicle (32) being loaded, the visual feed of the interior of the transport bin (34) during loading of commodity. |
