<p>The invention relates to an aerodynamic tyre with a characteristic geometry, meant for the aeronautical field, equipping the landing gear wheels of airplanes in general and other flight apparatuses, which, due to their construction and use, require a horizontal landing. According to the invention, the tyre is made of several pattern bands (1) and some smooth bands (2), alternately arranged within the pattern of a tread (BR), being manufactured as such, and it consists of wide bands (BL) and narrow embedded bands (BII) alternately arranged within the pattern of a tread (BR) and, sometimes, in the shoulders of the tread (BR), said shoulders making the connection of the tread (BR) with the flanks of the tyre, both the wide bands (BL) and the narrow embedded bands (BII) being circumferentially and alternately arranged on the width of the tread (BR) and symmetrically located with respect to the equator O-O of the tyre and manufactured during the moulding of the aeronautical tyre, where the wide bands (BL) have some cells (3) with characteristic aerodynamic profile located at a pitch distance (P) in a row, said cells (3) being similar to some flattened half shells and being the active part of an aerodynamic system of radial turbine type.</p> |
