The present invention relates to a key input protecting method and a key protecting device therefor. The key input protecting method according to the present invention, executed in the key protecting device provided between a key input device, for inputting a key input value, and a main device, for receiving the key input value, comprises steps of: encrypting the key input value to be protected and checking a target sever to which the encrypted key input value is transmitted; determining the key input value to be protected among the key input values inputted via the key input device; transmitting, to a main device, the key input value except the key input value to be protected among the key input values inputted via the key input device and loading the key input value to be protected; and encrypting the loaded key input value by using an encryption key corresponding to the target server.
